Performance based fusion of theatre, music, dance,
visuals and the drumming artform of Candombe presented
in the Sydney Sacred Music Festival at Riverside Theatre.
Balthazar, known to be one of the three wise men (magical kings)
of biblical origins as well as the African god Eleggua (the joker),
is the story-teller and protagonist, showing the way,
creating crossroads and provoking outcomes, enticing man’s natural
nomadic and social nature, non-judgmentally facilitating the path,
where ever it may lead…

A work based on the life of the soldier.
“Do you believe that strapping on polished black boots
and a green uniform makes you ready for the battle
of an altered reality?”
This choreographic piece takes as a pretext the dance
involving the interpreters with the objective of recreating a
parallel universe – one where your essence is left
behind for discovery in the form of responsibilities
that are indestructible to the human rationale.

“When the body runs away from an unwilling mind”
A choreographic piece where the dancers pose a physical, artistic transformation of the scene with the intent to bring us a little closer to the reality of those that suffer from Parkinson’s disease; a disease which tends to present itself in old age.
The dancers interpret, express and relate with the daily life of these people.
