In 2005 she began her career in the music industry as an assistant manager for one of the most important bands in Colombia at the time, rock-pop group SANALEJO. As part of the management team, Sylvia was responsible for managerial support, accompaniment and advocacy at national and international levels in partnership with EMI MUSIC. Internationalization of the band was achieved in the markets of Colombia, Ecuador, Venezuela, Costa Rica and the United States.

As well as this experience in the positioning, maintenance and development of strategies for artist growth, Sylvia made networks in the Colombian music industry through work in public relations, promotional coordination and management of media communications, allowing her to create a profile in PR and artist management.

During her 11 years of industry experience Sylvia has worked in various countries heading production of large scale concerts including Nivea-Beiersdorf 100 year anniversary concerts (Bogotá, Lima and Quito 2011, with a Latin salsa star Marc Anthony) and Air Supply (Lima 2010) among others. She also developed and executed international promotional tours with Latin American artists, learning the landscape of the music industry in various countries including Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Ecuador and the USA.

As international coordinator for Marmaz Corporation (Venezuela), Sylvia developed and conducted tours in Latin America as tour manager for artists such as Rakel (Latin Grammy Nomination 2012) and Santiago Lafaurie (Tropical-Pop).

Through her entrepreneurial side she became co-founder of Dream Machine (Peru-Ecuador), where she conducted consultancies, artistic management and international promotional tours with local artists such as Vegasonica (pop-rock), Los Mostos Verdes (reggae), Autobús (indie-rock) and Papá Changó (reggae-fusion).

After 10 years working in the music industry in Latin America, Sylvia followed her vision to expand her career horizons and relocated to Australia

As a manager, Sylvia has been developing the career of a new Australian band called Love Drunk Hearts that have received air time on Triple M. In 2017 she was a presenter at the Australian Music Week conference, speaking about the Latin American music markets, and also was involved as part of the production crew of the Bigsound festival.

Her main objective is musical and cultural exchange, opening new markets for talent and music to realize their commercial potential.
